Mountains and Valleys

Here’s a wonderful recording from the BBC this weekend of the gospel song ‘God on the mountain’, from Steve Balsamo and Rosalie Deighton. Great vocals to some great lyrics. Proved to be very poignant as this was being broadcast we were discussing at our Zac’s Tribal Gathering our how life can be found in unexpected places, even to the extent that everything we have of value is born out of darkness – the fragile whisps of growth above the earth’s surface tap down into strong deep roots, the complexity of human existence that’s formed in the womb and indeed the mountains that tower above the valleys. Health Day Success

Thanks to all who took part in the Health Day at Zac’s Place on Nov 1st.

Many of our friends have complex problems and they are served best by a good team effort of dedicated volunteers and skilled professionals from across several agencies – which included the Big Issue, The Wallich, SANDS, nursing and mental health team staff from Cyrenians St Matthews, dental and podiatry experts and student nurses.
