We are pleased to be working in partnership with the following organisations, in particular by way of making our venue available for them to carry out specific aspects of their work among Swansea’s rough sleepers, those in housing crisis and those with life controlling addictions.
The Wallich Rough Sleepers Intervention Team (Breakfast Provision at Zac’s Place)
Big Issue Cymru (Health Days and other events)
Swansea Night Shelter
Goleudy (Formerly Caer Las) – Access Point
Crisis – Skylight South Wales
NHS – Nursing and mental health outreach support for the homeless community
Matt’s Cafe – Swansea
Swansea Together Partnership responding to the Covid Pandemic
As a result of many of those involved with our Coffee Bar and Church For Ragamuffins, we also have regular contact with all local addiction and recovery support networks and agencies.
Sean Stillman is a regular contributor to HM Prison Swansea Chaplaincy work, both inside and outside the prison, and Zac’s Place is often an important point of contact for those released from prison. We have also previously had a community chaplain on the staff at HMP Swansea working in partnership with us and the funders sourced by the prison.
Links to these organisations are available on our links page.
Other Venue Users
Although not generally available at the moment for third party use, in the past, others users of our venue have included:
Swansea Council’s Youth Offending Team, Jems Drama School, The Consortium, Wales Theatre Company, Kreative Kidz and Swansea Churches Together.
We take seriously our role as neighbours. Whilst we can not be responsible for the behaviour of everyone, all of the time, that may use our venue, we do want to know if there are issues or concerns from others we share the community with. Feel free to contact us (details on the ‘About Us’ page), at any time and we will ensure the matters are dealt with appropriately.
