John Smith Film Update

Work is due to begin again on the ‘Smithy’ film project heading towards the proposed release date of 1 July 2015. John Smith has had an important role in shaping many aspects of our ministry, this independent film is a unique opportunity to capture not just a man’s influential life, but also document one of the most significant voices on mission and what it means to truly follow Jesus.

To make the best possible job of production and distribution options, opportunity to donate remains open until 31 Jan to raise the remaining funds.

Tribal Gathering

After a busy time at HQ in recent days, the next Tribal Gathering at Zac’s Place HQ will be on Tuesday eve 6th January.

We’ll spend some time looking back and sharing our stories of God’s mercy and grace over this past year.

Sun 6 Tribal Gathering Changes

Our regular first Sunday of the month Tribal Gathering scheduled for Sun 6 July at 4pm has been moved…..
Nicky, one of our friends is being baptised at Aberavon beach so we shall be supporting him.
People can meet at Zac’s from 12 and Steve will be there at
12.30 with the minibus for anyone who needs a lift. The baptism is from 1.00 pm on Aberavon near the lifeguards’ station, hosted by the church community Nicky is part if in Baglan. Spread the word among our regulars…

On the road dates

Sean will be returning to his home town of Reading on Monday 23 June to speak at an evening event hosted by Sindlesham Baptist Church.
He’ll be sharing stories from the road accumulated over the past 25 years to hopefully encourage and challenge people what it means to follow Jesus on the margins.
Sindlesham is a special place to return to, as it was one of the first church communities in Berkshire that understood, embraced and encouraged Sean in ministry.

The day before, Sun 22 June, Sean will also be speaking at both morning services at Parklands Church in Sketty Park, Swansea.

A New Venture

We are pleased to be able to announce the beginnings of a new venture called ‘Rough Edges’.
Rough Edges is a social enterprise initiative which in the long term we also hope will raise some support for our work.

You can read all about the project at this website
Spread the work among those you know who may want to get involved.
